About The Cartographic Edge Inc.
What exactly is an aerial survey? It’s is a way of collecting information about the earth from above by using methods such as aerial photography. The Cartographic Edge Inc. uses airplanes, helicopters, and UAVs to collect images of the earth’s surface, though balloons have also been used in the past. Aerial surveys differ from satellite imagery because aerial images have better resolution and quality.
The Cartographic Edge Inc. is dedicated to providing our clients with the most high quality images and analyses possible, no matter what you need them for. If you are working on a difficult project, such as a Highly Developed Urban Utility Corridor or a Rural 40 Acre Parcel, or you are conducting a land survey, The Cartographic Edge Inc. can help. We provide reliable, high quality services to all of our customers.
CEI did a great job mapping Denver Water’s nine-mile pipeline corridor from Ralston Reservoir to the Moffat Treatment Plant.
They provided planimetrics and one-foot contours for the route and were flexible and responsive in delivering the mapping to our requirements and CAD standards.
The route was flown on July 12th and the mapping was delivered on August 17th allowing us to meet our design schedule.
Because of their efficient response time, quality work, and professional attitude I would recommend CEI for future mapping projects
